Before starting, let’s define the precise job this application will be required to do.What is its mission? How will it be positioned in your ecosystem? What will its goals and key metrics be? But more than any of those things; who are we doing this for?


Identifying the key trends in the mobile world whilst recognizing and rejecting myths from print and web.


Conceiving a mobile offer for potential digital customers and mastering all the key phases prior to launch. A study of concrete, real world examples.


  • Why rethink your mobile application. Starting out with clear goals (growth, engagement, monetization).
  • What are its most important qualities?
  • Before starting; the trade-off sliders of your future application. What will be the positioning and role of the product in your ecosystem (FOMO, knowledge, understanding, etc.)?
  • Target readers and their personas
  • On a day to day basis what will define the success of this application (clue; it’s the first 6 seconds of the user’s session)?
  • Ok, now, and only now can we think about the design. Firstly, what are the key trends in the world of mobile? (Infinite Vertical Swipe, Videos, Story, Reach UI, Simplicity, Ad Tech, In-App purchase and subscription, etc.)
  • What types of content will feature in your stories?
  • How much content will be published each day? At what times?
  • What will be the most important characteristics? How do we determine them?
  • Define your MVP from the user journey.

  • Introduction and pooling of ideas – 20 mins
  • Theory – 60 mins
  • E-mail break – 10 mins
  • Workshop (Miro) – 60 mins
  • Returns – 15 mins
  • Conclusion – 15 mins


2 modules of 3 hours each, with a 1 hour group workshop to present collaborative tool Miro and methodology.


No prior preparation required. However the training session “Before creating and launching a product… Let’s start with a shared understanding of the challenges” would certainly be a bonus.
